This Beech pocket dolphin spoon has Kolrosing decoration on the at the top of the handle. Kolrosing is a traditional Scandinavian technique used to decorate the surface of wooden objects. Using the tip of a knife the surface of the wood is cut to part the grain, no wood is removed. Once the design is finished cinnamon is rubbed into the surface.

    All products are carved from wood collected from local tree surgeons.
    Due to the nature of the grain in wood your product may differ slightly from the image.

    Each item has been treated with organic food safe Swedish linseed oil. They will need re-treating over time with a food safe wood wax or oil to keep them looking their best. It is best to avoid using olive oil as it can go rancid.

    Never put wooden goods in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water. Wipe clean with a damp soapy cloth. If prolonged contact with water occurs the edges may go a little fuzzy when it is dry. Using a fine grit sandpaper lightly sand down until smooth and keep well moisturised with a wood oil or wax.
